Clinic Policy

Please note that while we have taken all the exceptional measures recommended by our regulatory boards to minimize the risk of viral transmission, the nature of Massage Therapy means that physical distancing is impossible in the treatment room. Hence, there is still a risk of viral transmission from asymptomatic spreaders. This is an unavoidable risk of the practice.

Self-Assessment and Screening

Please note that our online booking system, Jane app, will send you an online mandatory COVID-19 screening tool survey 48 hours before each appointment *for in-person appointments”. It is mandatory that you complete this at least 24 hours before you come for your appointment.

The clinic has reopened with a few changes as recommended by our regulatory bodies, WorkSafeBC, and the PHO.

To protect our clients, especially those who are immunocompromised:

  1. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes early for your appointment.

  2. Please arrive at your appointment alone. To ensure all clients feel comfortable, we cannot accommodate anyone extra in the clinic (except for a minor patient accompanied in the treatment room by a parent or guardian).

  3. Face mask: To protect our clients, especially immunocompromised ones, practitioners and clients are encouraged to wear a medical-grade face mask in the clinic common area, during treatments, and in the treatment room. If you do not have a medical-grade mask, we will provide one. According to the PHO, masks are strongly encouraged in healthcare settings, physicians’ offices and patient contact areas.

  4. If you are unwell or slightly sick, please call or email to cancel your appointment. There will be no charge if your appointment needs to be cancelled due to illness. Please see the screening questions below.

  5. Hand hygiene: Everyone entering the suite is encouraged to use the hand sanitizer (provided in the automatic dispenser at the front desk) or wash their hands.

Our priority is to ensure the safety of you, our clients, and our practitioners.
